Napoleon Appetizer
You must know Napoleon gateau, but it’s a recipe of an appetizer cooked of layers and of gateau shape. It’s suitable for a festive table.
Ingredients:
-puff pastry (you’ll need 6 layers)
- 0.5kg mushrooms
-3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 3-4 eggs
- 300g mayonnaise
- 100g cheese
- 1 onion
-greens to taste.
Directions:
You can either take frozen puff pastry or cook it yourself as for usual Napoleon gateau. I’ve bought frozen pastry.
Put the onion and mushrooms into the frying pan and cook until tender. Boil skinless, boneless chicken breasts. Boil the eggs hard. Then cut the breasts into small pieces and grate the eggs.
Pour some mayonnaise onto the pastry layer. Then put the breasts on it, spread evenly and cover with the 2nd pastry layer. Then again, pour mayonnaise and put the mushrooms. Cover with the 3rd pastry layer. Put the eggs on it. Repeat the process until pastry layers end. Pour mayonnaise onto the last layer and top with shredded cheese.
Put our dish into preheated oven for 10 minutes or into microwave oven for 5 minutes until cheese melts. Trim the ready dish with greens and cut into pieces before serving.
