Accordion Potato With Garlic

Baked potatoes are always tasty. But you can cook it better. To do that, you should use a knife: make accurate cuts accordion-shape and fill them with garlic and rosemary. TThe smell of rosmary can only be compared with the smell of baked potatoes; as for the garlic, it turns out to be dainty while cooking. Accordion potato even has its name - Hasselback Potatoes.

Cooking time: 70 minutes.
Servings: 2-4.

Ingredients:

5 even middle-sized potatoes
4-5 tbs of olive oil
1 tbs of butter
8 cloves of garlic
5-6 rosemary sticks
salt and pepper to taste.

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 220 C. Clean the potatoes with a brush carefully, but don't peel. Slice the potatoes, not all the way through the potatoes. The slices should stay connected about 1 cm at the bottom. Cut the garlic into very small pieces and place between the cut potato sections, missing each second section. Put 1-2 leaves of rosemary to the rest of the sections.

2. Grease the form's bottom with the olive oil, lay out the potatoes and grease it with olive oil from all the sides with the help of a brush. Powder with salt and pepper. Bake for 35 minutes.

3. When the sections close, grease the potatoes with butter again and bake for 25-35 minutes until they're soft and golden. If the sides begin to burn and the middle is still solid, cover the potatoes with a foil and lessen the heat.
