Hallway – 5 Design Features
Recently that I have become obsessed with hallway designs and constantly pinning every hallway I come across.
I have noticed that there are Five key features that combined together make the most perfect hallway/ entry which is a totally underrated space in most homes.
- The perfect wallpaper – When walking into the home you need something standout that is setting the tone for the rest of the home. From textured greys, beige’s and blacks or bright bold patterns something that says I’m home!
- Seating – Even if your not going to actually sit in the hallway it’s always nice to have something nice to anchor the space, just that touchy of comfyness is the perfect welcome home.
- Table – From side tables to sideboards to her consoles, a place to put all those valuable so your know were they always are, something I learn from Abigail Ahern’s course always treat every room as if it is your living room :)
- Lighting – Always add a touch of glam with pendants or if you have space a beautiful desk lamp, create that ambient lighting
- Art- wither it is a gallery wall, a large artwork or even sculptures these will add layering to your space and bring the design together.
