A Glass of Water Before Sleeping Helps to Avoid the Risk of Stroke and Heart Attack
There is always something we don't know about. I asked a doctor, why many people have frequent urination at night.
My cardiologist answered that gravity holds water in the lower part of your body while you're in a vertical position so during a day your feet swell. When you lie down and the lower part of your body (legs etc.) is on the same level with kidneys, it makes kidneys remove water because it's easier to do in such position. And it's connected with the following statement.
Earlier I knew that we need not very much water to help our body to remove the toxins from it. But the thing I heard was a piece of news for me. Change the time of taking water. It's very significant. It's the information given by a cardiologist.
Drinking water maximises its effectiveness on your body at a certain time:
2 glasses of water after waking up - help to activate your internal organs;
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion;
1 glass of water before a bath - lowers your blood pressure;
1 glass of water before sleep - helps to avoid stroke or heart attack.
I can also add something. My doctor told me that water during the night can help to prevent night feet cramps. When we are awakened by cramps, it's because of dehydration of feet muscles.
The cardiologist said that if every person would tell at least 10 people about this, a lot of human lives can be saved.
